This blog will chronicle my natural hair and loc journey. I’ve been natural since 2001. I began my first loc journey in 2002 with traditional locs. I have made the decision to transition to SisterLocks™ this year. You are welcomed to watch my journey. Peace and Blessings!

Just In Case You Were Wondering.....
Just in case you were wondering, here are a few pictures of where my locs have gone (hairstyles that is). I was also trying to figure out how to make a collage or mosaic (Thanks Reiko and Trina). Enjoy!
Don't miss it! Change is good. It's like the example Jesus gave about us being branches. Sometimes there must be some cutting away in order to grow into a beautiful tree. I have no regrets! Except that I should have done this years ago.
Hey, you go girl u had a beautiful head of traditionals and I'm sure your sisterlocks will be just as awesome! What did you use for to put r pics together?
Hey. I like ur blog. What did you use on ur traditional locs? It did not look like you had any buildup. What shampoo, conditioner and product for retwisting? Thanks.
@FijiFlower....thanks for checking me out. I only had buildup in the locs at the nape of my neck and I'm sure that was from all of the cotton that I tend to wear. I used the genertic paul mitchell tea tree shampoo from Sally's or Organic Root Tea Tree shampoo. I regret to announce that I very seldomly conditioned my hair because I could never find the right non-creamy conditioner. For re-twisting I only used Lock and Twist Gel, I think by organic root stimulator.
awww...i miss your hair for you! *sniff sniff*
